Hi,
Im from London UK. There is a very small amount of insect/fly pest in my house, but i cant seem to identify it. Can anyone advise me how I can get it identified? (without paying for these pest control services)

Hi...thanks to your suggestion, i did a bit looking around I think its a Clothes moth....i really dont know how to get rid off it, especially with a 4 month old baby at home

Well, I'm not sure how much I would advise you to do - most pests are not harmful, just annoying, and the "cure", especially chemically-based, is likely to be far more risky to babies than just living with the annoyance. Try to find out what you've got (catch some examples if you can and take them to your local uni or museum) and see if they pose any health risk and then your decision when you've got more information to work with. There are a million and one wonderful pets sites on the web. You might want to try doing a search for "common house pets" or to be more specific try "house pets london" or something along those lines.

Sometimes you can also call a pest company and they will give you good refrence sites or book to check out as well before you take the time to pay them to come out.

Do you have any photos? What does it look like? Where are you finding it?
