No, pokemon are not real. They are only in the series. Why dont u want 2 tell her? Maybe then she might say "yeah they are real. look im gonna make one right now!" then she might like.. blow up.. or at least get no TV for a week. :P

just because you have elements or chemicals... doesn't mean that you can create a being. mankind cannot create ANY new type of creature, and can only breed to get desired results.
no, animals that can control the very nature around us cannot be processed in a chemical plant

Pretty sure at the height of it's popularity the Japanese were planning on making a zoo featuring robots that acted and performed exactly like Pokémon would.

We can't, right now we can only actually create cells, not multi-cellular organisms through chemical means. Pokemon would be so complex that it is nearly impossible to create. Creating fire sacks for "Fire type" Pokemon would also be a really, really difficult process and making them weak to water would also be kind of wierd. Why engineer a weakness?

i figure you'd fight it like u would in your game of course everybody on the street would act like the chracters in the game giving u free STUFF.
