3x + 2 /2 = 7
3x = 7 - 1
3x = 6
x = 6/3
x = 2

24x + 5 = 12x + 41
24x - 12x = 41 - 5
12x = 36
x = 36/12
x = 3

3x + 2 /2 = 7:

3x+ 1=7 (it's +1 because 2/2 is already one)
3x=7-1 (try to get the x on one side. so subtract the one on both sides)
3x=6
x=6/3(get the x be itself. so divide it on both sides.)
x=2

24x +5 = 12x +41
24x-12x=41-5 (get all the x's on one side)
12x=36 (simplify it.)
x=36/12 (divide 12 on both sides.)
x= 3

3x+ 2/2=7<--BIDMAS 2/2=1
3x+1=7
minus 1 from both sides
3x=6
divide both sides by 3 to get:
x=2

24x+5=12x+41
minus 5 from both sides to get:
24x=12x+36
minus 12x from both sides to get
12x=36
divide both sides by 12 to get
x=3

Hope I help.
P.S This is stuff I did at school in year 7. No offence meant. :)
