He was on 'roids. RIP Chris, it was an accident and on and on...

1st, Steriods or not you don't kill people much less a 7 year old.
2nd, He doesn't deserve a RIP, he murdered his family plain and simple.
3rd, IT WASN'T AN ACCIDENT !, his wife's hands and feet were tied up, doesn't sound accidental to me.

Enough with the sympathy for him, direct your sympathy to the living family, and his late wife and child.

Now, get on with your life, he isn't the first and won't be the last celeb to murder someone.
You didn't know him personally, you didn't know what he was capable of !

Finally, someone speaking the truth. He is a murderer and that is what he should be remembered as. Yes, he was a good wrestler and he deserves to be recognized as that, but what he did to his wife and son is something that should not be forgotten and something that he should and will be remembered for.

I wish I knew the answer to this question, but to tell you the truth, it hurts to think about it. After Bret Hart retired, I was a die hard Chris Benoit fan. This guy could not talk like John Cena, had a monster look like Batista, or dominate office politics like HBK and HHH, but the man could do one thing... HE COULD WRESTLE. So to find out this guy may have killed his wife and 7 year old son breaks my heart. I'm so upset Chris Benoit is dead. And even more upsetting is that he may have killed people before it. I don't think I can ever watch wrestling after this. Chris Benoit was what I thought was good about the business, now I find out that my hero may have been nothing more than a murderer and a coward.

I know it wasn't an accident. It is so hard to believe it though. I thought he loved his family. I can't believe he is a murderer. Everyone said he was so calm. Steroids make you have moments were you lash out though. I didn't know it could make you so crazy that you kill a defenseless 7 year old. I really respected Benoit. Sadly I don't anymore.
R.i.p. Benoit Family

I feel soooooooooo bad for his other too kids.

Couldn't agree more!
Rabid Wolverine alright. Now he can burn in hell.
This guy was injecting his own 7 year old son. CNN said they found the kid with needle marks all over his arms with probable growth hormone the reason.
A cold blooded killer. I couldn't lay a hand on my wife or kids.RIP...he will find no peace I guarantee you that. These wrestlers can cry the blues over what a great guy he was but reality shows he was nothing but a miserbale piece of...you fill in the blanks. WWE can expect a new steroid investigation now. And only a moron would call this an accident.

My sympathy is with his deceased wife and child and the rest of his family and friends.

I am a huge Benoit fan...but I'm still trying to understand what could have driven him to do this. Personally I don't think he was in his right mind....

In any event, this is in God's hands now. He shall deal with Benoit as he sees fit.

"You didn't know him personally, you didn't know what he was capable of !"

Neither do you, you moron. In fact, none of you know him personally or what happened to him that weekend. Not even the police investigators and autopsy technicians have absolutely confirmed anything yet.

Even if he did do it, it was defnitely not planned.

You DO NOT know if he took anything else besides steroids, it was not revealed. Maybe a mixture of drugs caused a drug induced rage.

You know he regretted it because he put a bible over both his wife's and son's heads and prayed. That doesn't sound like something a heartless murderer would do.

Also, he didn't plan it. Did you hear of him shooting himself? No. Did you hear of him even premaking a noose? No again. He hung himself in a pulley cord in a weight room, it was a completely spontaneous and desperate move.

Just because you read a couple reports on MSN or a wrestling site doesn't mean you suddenly know everything. So quit acting like a smartass. Until everything is 100% confirmed and officially released in the press, shut your mouth.

The only thing confirmed now is that he was a great man and now he is dead. This is why true fans cried for him and say Rest in Peace Chris Benoit.

We love you and will always miss you.

I understand that what he did was really really bad but Benoit, as some of his neighbors said-"was one of the nicest people and it was not like him,"Which I believe but still I feel bad for him You didn't have a clue what it was like when he did it. I however know what it feels like cause ie happens everyday, but you only fought Benoit for it.

1.He didnt know what he was doing then.
2.He does deserve a RIP cause he didnt know what he was doing cause he was a steroid abuser :(
3.It was uncalled for but he apparently it was an accident cause you could tell he felt bad he laid a bible next to them, and killed hisself probly because he felt bad.

He deserves lot of sympathy and lots a RIP

The fact of the matter is that you must be in a dark and depraved place in order to kill your family, and Benoit was apparently in that place. It doesn't give him any more right to do what he did, but it shouldn't absolutely the destroy the inspiration and things he's given us through the life we knew, and I refuse to pass judgement, as you can never know what a person is truly going through unless you walk in their shoes.
