Well, when people don't communicate with their representatives it leaves an opening, a void to be filled by the special interest groups. Get your friends and family to start writing emails, letters and make calls to your reps. This is how we get our country back from the corporate and special interests. Demand that lobbying be made illegal.

"Free speech,eh"?
I am surprised that the asker of this question presumes
that voters are not members of special interest groups
and that they are "free" to know-how-to-vote.
I am sure that they can find out how to vote by getting the
knowledge contained herein.
Just remember;when the possibly fascist dictator Cromwell
kicked out both the Left and the Right group politicians,he
did so partly because of the inherent faults in the mass
"free" system;he acted freely but to no avail.
So let some"special interest groups" control some voters
in their voting. And if you are asked, which groups to select,
select the "good" ones to begin with.
And perhaps there may well be some - (real) Good ones
in there too.

Its bullshit because now corporations are going use their war chests to legally interfere with politics. There is a reason why politicians have to put down their contributors and why contributors have a max amount they can contribute.
Say good bye to any independents that plan on running for president because now they have almost no chance at winning. Most likely the decision was made to prevent Bloomburg from touching the presidency, since as an independent he has a rather high chance of winning.
Corporatism has truly taken over. Welcome to Fascism.

Clearly, the McCain/Feingold bill was un-constitutional. Thank God the Supreme Court still has a little sense. By the way, do you know which justices voted against this ruling, if any?

no offense or anything but all your vote does is get piled up into a large pile of vote thingys and then sent to the representatives. this means that your vote is like a lobbyist trying to pass a bill. and no i fell that these adds are a big waste of money that could be used for more important matters such as health care or what not
