Hey, there is no answer here..you are so right...Harper is not taking this country in a direction we even recognize...he is not there to please Canadians, he is there to please Alberta...he is an evil looking man with a personality to match, who will destroy this country if ever given a majority...if he governs with this arrogance in a minority, we might as well all join the marines and go where ever we are told...personally, I believe that the allowing armed "hillbilly's" to cross our borders is the last straw, but this is not the first...in his first year, American state troopers were in BC to train the RCMP how to circumvent the Canadian Charter for drug searches..one of the cars that stopped had a man and baby on board..he refused search.down the road he was stopped again for another supposed reason and this time he allowed the illegal search but had to leave his child alone in the car...following the search he protested and informed them he was a police officer and his rights had been violated...he went to court and the judge said "well if you had of identified yourself as a police officer you would not have been searched...obviously perceived as two sets of rights..so after reading that I asked my MPs office about it, Colin Carey, Oshawa, and I still have not received a reply..in fact today's inquiry will not be replied to...so the end of this, dress up in 19th century clothing and ride off to Texas because that is where we are heading if we do not get out and stop him...but no fears, we always have Quebec to deal with him...they seem to know how to dethrone potential kings and there disdain for being Canadian, a political ploy I believe, is no where near their dislike for the US...so once again, when we get the chance we better go for it because he cannot be allowed to continue.

Please never copy America. when Canada said no to illegal war with Irak, I was most proud. It reaffirmed my ideas of free independent Canada making its own decisions. Though I live in Asia, myself and others have noticed Mr. Harper is in a way dragging down the prestigious name of Canada, and I personally view him as a stooge of America. Canada is the one country in the world, that where ever you go except a country or two, you are treated with respect. Canadian tourists when they visit here are the most polite and cordial. Canada's direction has taken a turn for the worse since Mr. Harper has formed the current government, specifically on israel Palestine issues - new stand completely different then the past, and sucking the nipple of uncle sam, for no apparent reason and no possible gain.

I have to say I find the Canadian liberal security mentality to be a farce. Remember most of Europe has similar security lists and Canada is one of the last Western nations to have such a list. These lists have existed before Bush in Europe and would exist there even if there was not terrorists attacks on 9/11. Harper is just bringing Canada into line with the rest of NATO and the West.

You know I was talking to an American guy the other day and he said he had visited Australia and said he felt it was like being at home in the USA and it was really Americanised. Being Australian, I was horrified! I dont want to be like them!

Who says you have to? We're about ready to close our borders again anyways like before WW2 and let winers like you take charge. Don't bother asking for help again the American people will refuse this time. People are very tired here of hearing people like you who have no brain and are anti-american but when push comes to shove you come crying.. oh please help us please..Not to mention "YOU" let the 9/11 terrorist into the USA. Thanks by the way.

I don't think I can understand your point, because the way you write is very difficult to follow. However, I for one don't think you need to copy the Americans. Carry on!
