That depends on more than age. Genetics has a big part in it. I went to high school with a guy that had a full beard his senior year. I didn't have to start shaving until I was out of high school, if I remember correctly.

I could grow a goatee when I was 20. I'm 35 and I still can't grow a beard. Probably never will. My hair just doesn't grow that way.

Maybe never. Many guys can't grow a beard, don't produce enough facial hair or it comes in in patches. Yours may be late, but if you are shaving off the light stuff every day or so, and it is the rough whisker type hair, that may be all you'll get.

My brother had peach fuzz on his face until his mid-twenties (and with 4 very inconsiderate (hahaha) sisters picking on him about it. Well, he's now literally a hairy ape only 5 years later, and now that he can grow a beard, opts to shave twice a day.
Be patient.

Some guys don't grow facial hair easily. It all depends on the genes in your family. I know a guy that's 34 and it takes a month and a half to get the start of a goatee..... It depends on you.

It's different for every guy! Keep shaving the light stuff and it should turn dark sooner or later!
