I could understand if someone came in and it was an accident, but for ANYONE to kill a wife and son is unexcuseable, and I have no respect for him what so ever.....I am sorry...He might be the best technical wrestler ever..but he might be the worst person outside of wrestling ever as of right now.....

L.Y.W.H. - I WILL remember BENOIT - but for what he did outside the ring now...not inside...

Amen man.

I was tore up last night, not to the point of crying, but it was so sad when he was there telling stories and every tough guy was almost in tears...

It was pretty sad, and I respected all of them..

But now, I couldn't give a damn about Benoit honestly.

I wish I knew the answer to this question, but to tell you the truth, it hurts to think about it. After Bret Hart retired, I was a die hard Chris Benoit fan. This guy could not talk like John Cena, had a monster look like Batista, or dominate office politics like HBK and HHH, but the man could do one thing... HE COULD WRESTLE. So to find out this guy may have killed his wife and 7 year old son breaks my heart. I'm so upset Chris Benoit is dead. And even more upsetting is that he may have killed people before it. I don't think I can ever watch wrestling after this. Chris Benoit was what I thought was good about the business, now I find out that my hero may have been nothing more than a murderer and a coward. And oh yeah, Vince likes faking his deaths on TV.

I Didn't Lose Respect To Benoit He Came From Nothing And Was A Big Name, So I Respect Him For That. But For Killing His Family, I Had A Friend That Almost Killed Himself And His GF Due To Side Effects From Roids And Drugs. And I Think After His Marriage Went Down Hill The Roids Effect Came Into Play, Cause I Know I Guy Like That Wouldn't Kill His Family Willing.

This is a tough question. He was my favorite wrestler. After hearing the story of him killing his family, its kind of hard. You would say the steroids killed them, but he chose to take them, did he not? It was on his own free will to take the steroids, he knew the risk. He was a great wrestler nonetheless.

He is a coward and took a coward's way out of this life and he deserves no respect at all - even if he was a great wrestler. There is no excuse, NONE, for killing an innocent child!

You're an arrogant piece of trash.

Nothing is absolutely confirmed yet, and already you're passing judgement on a dead man.

Even if he did do it, you don't know the motive. Maybe he was in a drug induced rage. Notice he left a bible by both his son and his wife, and he probably prayed for them. Notice he took his own life in consequence.

This is not something a heartless killer would do. Ever.

Benoit was a great man and gave everyone the outmost care and respect. Always.

And now, because of one incident in the present, that you know nothing about by the way, you choose to completely forget all of the great things he has done for his fans in the past?

For God's sake! He's sacrificed his body and soul for 20 years just to keep people like you entertained. He never cared about the money, but he cared about giving out respect. He was a great man! You're the one who's a heartless bastard, not Benoit.

God Bless you Chris, Nancy, and Daniel Benoit. Rest in Peace.

I just have to wonder what was going through his mind.
For him to cancel the PPV the night before,..it's just odd.
I wonder if we really have all the facts.

If what the current evidence points to is true then yeah it's hard for me to accept that. As a guy who dreams of one day having his own wife and family, I'm extremely disappointed.
