The integrity and security of the freedom of speech is only ensured when we all embrace the rights of those we disagree with to voice their unpopular words and ideas. Yes, of course, the KKK is racist...and perhaps morally that is not okay. But the only thing that makes them worse than the black power organizations, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, etc. is they have been around longer and thus have more history - they all incite hate, anger, violence, and drama. I don't like any of them - but I'm not willing to give up my right to speak my mind just to silence fools.

I'd be glad to see them go as long as every other group of fringe idots got theirs too. New Black Panthers, N.A.M.B.L.A. etc.
Of course they are racist, that's the point.
No they certainly aren't ok. Trailer trash playing games, just like the NBPP is a bunch of ex-cons trying to play revolutionary heros to the people. Jerk offs one and all.
Singer said correctly that the Black Panthers didn't kill any whites or promote hatred. Mostly I would agree. However an unaffiliated but organized group of blacks did kill, mutilate, rape, and torture innocent whites. Those would be the NOI off shoot called the "Death Angels". Nobody heard of the Zebra Murders in San Francisco? Organized black men set out to kill white women, men and children to "earn points". This occurred in the 70's. Look it up. Not that it diminishes or justifies the Klans history, I only mention it to point out that contrary to singer's remarks black men have organized to commit atrocities. The "Death Angels" weren't the only ones either.

The Klu Klutz Klowns, are a dying breed. The civil rights movement did very well in helping that group die out. However, they still exist to day. I wish that all racist groups would be banned for the common good of the people.

They are racist. No they are not 'OK'.
If racist cults like Black Panthers are legal, then by all means, the KKK should be legal as well.
Can we do without these cults? Yes. Should we? No. Why? Because it is easier to fight an enemy you can see than one you can't.

What do you say we give them an entire state. Lets see: where is it legal to marry your sister or have sex with your chicken? They are nothing but a bunch of worthless losers.

Well, if they banned the good ol' boys of the Klu Klux Klan, then they would try to ban the Muslims of the Nation of Islam. As long as the KKK don't bother me, I could care less what they do......

No, yes and no. As a young girl growing up in Alabama, I witnessed a lot of the terror that the KKK practiced on black people. This group was nothing like The Black Panthers. The Panthers were the first organization to bring hot meals to their community of youngsters who did not see hot meals. They provided transportation to the elderly to stores and shops. They taught the people to be proud of their dark skin and heritage - something that has been long instilled in blacks that was negative, that their broad noses, full lips, dark skin and their women's voluptuous behinds was something to be ashamed of. I have seen the faces of many Emmitt Till's in my lifetime. I have seen and heard and witnessed bombings of churches where little black girls were killed because of the KKK. This is a group whose determination was to steal, kill, and destroy a culture of people - black people. No black organization has ever set out with purpose to pull white men from their homes and lay them flat on railroad tracks, set their homes on fire, rape their women, separate their children, hang their men with their own private parts in their mouths- none. I do not support any group whose purpose is to hurt, kill or destroy another.

Even if they are a racist organization they have as much right to be here as the NAACP, which is also just a racist organization.
