I doubt it! To be first ballot, you need to be a god. Too many writers need to vote yes.

It's goona be close. If he keeps up his same clip like he has, .320 BA, 100 runs, 150 hits, 40 doubles, 20 HRs, & 100 RBIs for 6 more years (when he will turn 40) then his career line will look like this: .325 BA, 1650 runs , 2700 hits , 675 doubles (#5), 1600 RBIs and 425 Hrs.
I think, he gets it 1st ballot if it is a slim year for inductees. If he is up against competition it might take a few more years.
The Hall writers look for dominance. So was he dominant? Yes and no. As an individual player, yes. But the Rockies wont win any world series and he hasn't and probably wont win any MVPs.
But I'm hopeful so I'll give him a big thumbs up in his 3rd year of eligibility.

He might have the highest batting average over the past 10 years. but he only has 292 homeruns in his career and his batting average is .333 and he is almost 34 and he's been in the majors for ten years. He only has about 6 to 7 years left to get to 500 homeruns. There is only 4 players in the hall of fame less than 500 homeruns He won;t be in the hall of fame

I'd say no just cause of where he plays and he's not been all that consistant over his career. If Allan Trammell is not a first ballot, let alone a big if for the HOF, then Helton has to wait!

No, I mean, he's a good player, but not "Hall Of Fame" good. Their are a lot of players out there who are good, but just not good enough for the hall. Although, if he were to hit over .400 in the future, then I would say that he's headed for Cooperstown.

No, I dont think he has any chance of being in the HOF, even though he's an above average player. He has a long career ahead of him still, so who knows.

That's like thinking Mark Grace is a HoFamer.
They both should be, but the probably won't.

You must be kidding right. The only way he'll get to Cooperstown is by buying tickets.
