I usually find I write better with a pen on paper. Just feels more natural.

microsoft word? and silly me thought you were talking about literery devices. (like paralelism, alliteration, synecdoche, thesis statements...) - if that IS what you mean... then let me know

but yes... microsoft word is what most people use to write essays...
