if you're not putting out like when you were dating or before your kids, it's most likely porn. why would he hide chats or messages from kids? you're being paranoid. you should find out if you're satisfying his physical needs. you may be able to answer this for yourself. think about how often you have some good crazy sex with him and then make a determination.

You have a right to know just who you are married to. I don't agree with the people, especially men, who think that they can have a portion of themselves that they spend toying with other women when you aren't around. They're sneaky, and definitely not gentlemen.
So I believe that you should communicate with your husband on this issue. Tell him that he is making you suspicious with having a password on that computer, and that you have noticed that he often shuts it down whenever you come around, as if he has something to hide.
If he says that he doesn't have anything to hide, then ask what the password is. Now what is he going to say to you?
You don't need to know exactly what he is doing, you already know that he is doing something secretive. If you can tolerate the porn use, then tell him that, and if you can't tolerate it, then you have to tell him that too.
He may be looking at sex hookup sites, or have email accounts you don't know about, who knows? The question you have to ask yourself is where do you draw the line at his interest in other women, and where will he draw the line on being honest and open with you?
That's why I suggest you start with a good conversation.
I don't know how to bypass passwords, but a professional would, like a P.I. or computer doctor.

He is doing something on the Internet he is not proud to share with you. You need to have a good talk with him and find out what it is. If you break or break into his computer you are being as dishonest as he is. He could be into something worse- gambling or child porn so you need to convince him to get some professional counseling. Good luck.

Download a linux livecd and boot the computer with it and look around the hard drive. Only if you know how to use computers and not if it has Vista because Linux Live cd's tend to mess that operating system up.

Why don't you just ask him and let him know up front that if it is porn it would be okay with you. Or even try looking at some of the porn with him, it might make him less suspicious acting.

Can anyone else do porn on the net? Do you do porn?
Honey if it just in the cyber world, leave it there.
And I don't like other people on my puter either, they may not be as neat as I am and download crap and otherwise mess up my desktop and leave my puter sluggish or crashing.
Him not talking to you is a bigger issue deal with that.

Take the computer away from him and sell it or trash it. It is ruining your marriage and isn't worth all the problems it is giving you, him and your children. He lived without the laptop before and he can live without it again.
