absolutely. the more u let people in your space, the more they'll intrude into your privacy. i push others away and thats how i am. that way, i can know that the person who still stick by me are actually my true friends.

Yes I find it hard to connect with others and hide away my true feelings wondering which heartbreak will come next

yeah, its way easier than letting people in...altho its totally damaging too. i try to fight against it, cuz after so many years of doing it, it becomes a natural urge to push people away at a certain point when they get too close.
