My doctor told me when I had my miscarriage that it is advisable to let your body go through one cycle. After that it is pretty much up to you when you feel ready to try again. My husband and I decided to try after waiting for a month and we were able to conceive pretty quickly. Nine months later we had a beautiful little girl (who is now 10 months). Good luck!

EDIT-I had a natural miscarriage at 9 weeks and then had to have a D&C later on in the day because I didn't expell all of the placenta and was bleeding a lot...I don't know if this info helps or not.

in case you have had a d&c, the docs will many times propose you to place of intercourse and swimming for no less than 6 weeks to sidestep an infection, and wait a minimum of two cycles until eventually now attempting to conceive back, so in entire approximately 3 months minimum. this is not any longer basically because of the fact the threat of miscarrying back is achievable extra beneficial if being pregnant occurs too quickly after a miscarriage, yet because of the fact the physique, and the recommendations, needs to heal.. Miscarriage is a stress on the physique bodily and emotionally.

It's up to you. Most doctors will ok women trying to conceive shortly after a miscarriage as long as she is physically and emotionally ready. For some women, it helps with the healing process to get pregnant very quickly. For others, they like a few months to adjust to the loss.

My sympathies for the loss of your little one.

My doctor told me wait till after 2 periods, but I also had a D&C - not sure if that was the case for you. Ask your doctor.

Ask your doctor. Each case is different. But it's a good idea to wait at least two complete cycles.

my sister-n-law just had a miscarriage naturally. i was shocked when her dr told her she could get pregnant right away. her dr said most drs say a few months due to emotional reasons. if you are ok with your loss then go for it. her dr told her you are more fertile after mc so you actually have a better chance. good luck
