Go for the former. If you're a top contributor for STDs, people would be likely to think you have something of that nature. Now if you do, you're still cool with me, just saying...

You still have to contribute a lot to P&S to keep your badge in that category--I know, I changed my categories, and lost the two I used to have.
R&S has a lot of hate in it--and I don't know if I'd want to be known as an 'expert' in STDs :D
You could go to jokes, cultures, celebrities, sports, internet, video games, etc.--if you wanted :)

if you hang out in R&S you will get your account deleted, so i think its impossible to get a R&S badge.
