It's been a few months since this last debate... but it's obvious that there's an unbalance and perhaps it should be evened-out. Tell me what you think...

Get rid of the DH. It changes the whole dynamic of the game, and not for the better. The American League game is much simpler, not as involved, and as a result, not as interesting. Just pitch until your arm falls off, and swing for the fences.
The biggest impediment to abolishing the DH, is not the fans, but rather the Players Union. They are afraid of losing a senior player, who would otherwise have to retire, and replacing him with a cheaper Rookie. If Baseball was serious about ending the DH, this concern could be easily resolved by just adding another player to every teams roster (25 instead of 24).

Keep it the way it is. Reason, it gives teams a chance to play the other leagues style in interleague play. it is also a reason why the world series is interesting, seeing ace pitchers go up against the same kind of stuff they throw. when the nl is home it can also be funny to see someone like julian tavarez (had a nice drag bunt actually). Sometimes they make fools of themselves, and sometimes they do great things at the dish. another idea is a choice, the managers can choose, pitcher or dh, their could be a good hitting pitcher, better than any other bench player that day and the manager wants to go with the pitcher.

I don't think the NL will ever allow DH and the AL will not get rid of it because it is a better game without an automatic out each nine batters. DL really make a managers job easier too!

AL Pitchers would be less likely to bean batters if they had to stand in there once in every nine players.

Get rid of the DH. To all the people who say they don't want to see a pitcher bat in a really big spot: That's only true if your team is batting. If it's the opposing team up at bat, you'd love for the pitcher to come up.

i like the fact that there is both the DH and the non-DH rule in baseball. it makes interleague play more interesting for the teams to adjust to the different ballparks. however, if i had to choose for the AL to switch just like in the classic days. this change would help lower the power numbers for the AL and make the pitching numbers more equal.

I don't see anything unbalanced. The AL is just better.

The American League plays a lot of games in National League parks, so they loose the DH, but still win a majority of those games. The AL has also beaten the NL in the last 10 All-Star games. Half of those were played without the DH.

So to say the AL has big advantage over the NL because of the DH is absurd.

AL should change, sometimes your pitchers can come up big. Example: Brad Penny hitting a no out double, to begin a scoring rally by the Dodgers.

I hope the AL changes. The DH is a pathetic excuse of a position, its basically a glorified golfer. Let the managers manage.

Nothing is better than watching your SP take the other pitcher deep.

If either is going to change, it's gotta be the AL.
We don't want that DH in the NL.

Get rid of the DH. I don't see why the pitcher shouldn't hit, he's a position player like anyone else. It adds managing excitement and skill to have to deal with the pitcher in the 9 spot, and it makes it a plus to have a pitcher who can actually hit.
