could it be?

Question

I got my period Friday the 22 right on time like always, and it went away in two days and wasn't even really heavy like always. My boyfriend and I don't use any protection when we have sex either so could it possibly be that I am pregnant... I took a pregnancy test the other day and it showed up negative... well I think that is what it said the second line was there but really really really light... I was planning on taking another one soon. My cycles are usually really regular... I know exactly when I am going to get it and exactly how it is going to be each month and this one kind of suprised me and the pregnancy test didn't help that much. It would be so happy if I were but I don't have any other symptoms... unless it is to early for any other symptoms to show up?! I haven't really been under any unusual amount of stress so I don't think that could be it... I normaly don't have sex during this time and I did so could that have caused something?

Just to let you people (the ones that tell me to use birth control) If I didn't want a kid I would use birth control... I am old enough to know how to take care of my responsiblities... If I didn't want a kid I would use birth control. So quit judging and telling me that. I live with my boyfriend of three years and we are very much in love... we used birth control up untill 7 months ago because we decided that if I end up pregnant that wouldn't be bad, it would be a very good thing! I was honestly hoping that I was because I have tried since I quit taking my birth control and it hasn't happened... I know it takes more then just 7 months but still! It would be a blessing!!!!

It's a definite possibility that you're pregnant. You may have had implantation bleeding, and thought it was your period. This normally happens between 10 and 14 days after conception, which is about the time you'd expect your period. I'd retest in the morning with your first urine. Try the digital one, it's more expensive, but it takes the guess work out of holding the test up to the light to try to see if there's REALLY a line there. Good luck.

It is possible that your pregnant if you show a light line on the pregnancy test more that likely you are . I have three children and one on the way and on each hpt that i took the line was very light it could be your hormones are not strong you may need to take a blood test.

You're not pregnant. When you are, sometimes you'll spot. But it's very light, to where you don't even think you've started...
If it was like your regular period as far as flow then your body may just be recycling around. Our bodies do that from time to time, whether its every other month when it changes the time chart or every couple of years.
If you start to feel tired or your breasts become sore you may need to take another test. Wait eight days before testing again.

Just take another test, but it might be a little early, then again some women have a little of spotting at the beginning of their pregnancy. Negative tests can be wrong. Take another one early in the morning...If it's still negative you might want to wait a little while. and then if your periods havent' started again, take a blood test, those don't lie.

You should take another test. You said the first test was negative, but that the other line showed up but very faint. That sounds like it could be a positive. If it was negative the other line should not have showed up at all. I would re-test.

you are pregnant, even if the second line is really light, its still positive, unless you waited past the time they gave you. take another one in a few days good luck

somedays months our periods are shorter than others also if you had sex during your period it can make you stop bleeding wait a week and then take another test
