if you turn on your pc press f8 in the start then run it in safe mode then use admin user account then changes your password of your on account ok

Windows XP allows you to set up a recovery disk at "User Accounts" in "Control Panel".
If the damage is already done, try using WinInternals ERD Commander 2005, i know it has a so called "locksmith" application in it, which allows you to change passwords.
