Speedo cable, try a car parts re-cycler (formerly known as a car junk yard.)
You could do the same with the compressor, but I think you might be better off going to a car parts supplier (like NAPA) and purchase a rebuilt unit since it's a more vital and complex part.

Check the junkyards in your area. Call them and they can usually see if they have any of those parts.
