I don't pick my friends based on sexuality, therefore, I have both gay and straight friends. Why is it that my gay friends are always talking about equality, but in the same sentence can call me a breeder? In my opinion, some of my gay friends fit the breeder role then me, as they wish to have kids and I do not want them.

Come on, we receive so many ugly names, that sometimes low self esteem makes it funny to give the Other a pejorative name as well. I don't think there is any harm in that. I know so many gays that call each other '******' or 'she', or arabs that call each other 'hey dirty arab' (with a big smile). It is just a way of getting rid of the low self esteem by acting as if we joke about the names we receive. I sometimes hang out with Arabs that call me Hey Jew Boy. But always with a big smile.

I hope your friends do it with a mild smile.

Some people are rude.
My friends and I use the term 'breeder' but we often use it only around other gays and in the same contexts other people would often make fun of homosexuals. (say two people are making out, we'll say 'eww breeder')
I personally don't call my friends this because they are respectful of my sexuality. I have seen some of my other gay friends say it to straight friends though, it's meant to be the good natured kind of rude comment some people get away with around their friends. Their friends know they're not seriously being bigoted about their sexuality.
Turn around and tell them you don't use rude words for their sexuality and that they shouldn't use ones around you, maybe they'll stop when they realise they are offending you.

It relies upon, i assume. i'm unlikely to submit with crap from anybody, so if somebody used it as an insult, i might get offended. If somebody in basic terms stated me as a 'breeder', i wouldn't likely care. in basic terms as long because it is going the two techniques.. in the event that they might call me regardless of they prefer, i ought to have the flexibility to playfully use the term 'bologna smoker' or something alongside those lines.

This isn't a problem with the gay community, it's a problem with your friends. You need to tell them that calling you names based on your sexuality is crossing a line for you. If you don't call them gay or homo they shouldn't be allowed to call you breeder.

So talk to them, fix it. They likely just do not know they're crossing a line, but they are, so fix it.

Some embittered gays think hating straights back will solve the problems that exist . But bitterness and hatred is not the way . Let the straights be the haters .

The only times I have heard the term "breeding" used in the gay community was when the "top" was penetrating the "bottom" and breeding denoted ejaculating sperm into the bottom...such as "I'm going to breed you now, buddy!"

Are you primarily a "top" in homosexual sex practices? If so, it would seem to me not to be derogatory but merely descriptive as to your likes. Perhaps being called a "breeder" would be a signal to a "bottom" that he has met someone to complement him rather to be in competition with him for the attentions of a "top".

They are being rude....... some people might say it in jest to a real close friend..... but to continually classify you as a breeder is just as bad as a straight person calling a gay person a f*ggot......

um dont gays relise that they CAME FROM BREEDERS. unless they were created in a lab or cloned i dont see why they should use it. really though if thats supposed to be a word to be insulted by they could have done better. breeder is a word you really can get pissed about. if they are going to insult the non-gay they could have at least made a better insult than that.

I suppose your gay friends have just a much a problem with sitting in judgment of others as your straight friends do. Every one is just dying to point fingers and call names. it is indeed a sad world we live in.

Some people expect adversity all the time and use an offensive defence as a form of self-protection. Expect this, be understanding, but don't stand for it.
