I'm looking at SAT prep books for the subject tests and College Board has one that says it's for all subjects, but they also have individual books for the different tests. Does anyone here have experience with these books? Does the 'complete' book short change you in anyway or does it have all the same info as each individual book?

Thank you!

Yes, obviously I'm talking about the newest most up to date books for the SAT II, nothing obsolete...

I've always either used the Princeton Review books or the SparkNotes review, which are online in full text at http://www.sparknotes.com/testprep/sat2/
Or I've just relied on notes from class or absolutely nothing at all.
The College Board book that has all the subjects isn't very helpful for serious preparation in specific subject areas. It is the only book that has a real SAT subject test for every single subject, so it exposes you to all of them in one book, but beyond that, it doesn't do much.

I took the SAT subject tests a couple of years ago, and I found that getting individual books was better than getting the whole thing, as you a)do not have unecessary bulk and b) you have a more defined reading (perhaps more thorough also) of the subject you wish to take. I would actually suggest Barrons' books as opposed to the College Board's, but then again, thats personal preference.

an outstanding form of the prep books you will locate would be very a lot the comparable. what's easily going to make a distinction is the technique in which you learn. initiate early, and evaluation many times. The ACT and the SAT are the two annoying checks with a distinctly strict time decrease. the final ingredient you're able to do is evaluation many times, take an outstanding form of prepare checks, and artwork interior the time decrease. verify out the object for extra archives.

i am assuming that you are talking about new versions of those sat subject prep books. if so, they have different tests.

the tests in "new" individual books are the same as the tests in "old" complete books. just that the "new" individual book comes with explanation.

They all have basically the same information, but Barron's is the best if you have high expectations.
