Not necessarily, she must have had a perforation, risk his high, depends how old she is, are there any other diseases that she suffers from? What post-operative complications, actually what you provide is not enough to say that she'll die, and don't worry, hope for good.
Good luck, and pray.

Lots of people are on life machines all the time, and live to see another day or another year. My aunt went in for minor heart surgury and hasn't come out of the hospital yet, and that was a year a half ago. We are taking her home for hospice care, or frankly to die at home, I just hope YOUR aunt doesn't do the same thing. Don't let her stay in the hospital more then a year, it's hard. And draining for you.

Very Sorry To say, There's a Slim chance she'll Fully recover.

Remember though its up to your family if its so Serious that you'll have to decide whether they keep her on support or not.

So She WILL NOT die if you dont want her too.

Hospitals sometimes Have illnesses Around that are contagious. Cures are avaiable At the mo So theres a bright future (if your aunt has caught one of them infections) ^^

oh. i am soo sorry. but you have to have faith. Pray to the Lord. Thats all that might help. Believe me! My Best friend's Sister was in the hospital with pnemonia and almost died. But we all prayed everyday and now she is out of the hospital. Do you know how many ppl get out of life support and live? She'll be fine. I'll pray 4 you. Everything is going to be okay. Have faith and Pray

I'm very sorry to hear this news, but would you want her to be in pain the rest of her life, or even in a vegetable state? We all die, it's a fact of life. I will say a few prayers for her as I'm sure others here will also do. Hang in there, OK?

I am very sorry to hear that. You poor thing. It is normal to be scared and dealing with death is especially frightening. Keep your head up!!
I can not answer your question, as I am not a Dr., but due to the fact that she is on a Life machine, and might be best to prepare your self for the worst. Good Luck

No one can say whether a person is going to live or die ONLY God knows that answer.

Keep your faith and say a prayer for your Auntie. If she is meant for heaven then it will be God's will. What ever happens there is a greater plan for her in life.

the doctors are the only ones who can tell you her progress for sure. hang in there. death is a scary thing, but it sounds like there may be a chance of her survival. keep your head up. and be with the other ones you love in the time of need. good luck.
