Im visiting some relatives in Colorado, but they live in an almost non-existent town of 1300 people. It's not that far from Bolder but I still need some clues as to what to do with my almost month stay.

Rafting is big and fun, I get to go anytime, right at the base of my mountain. The rivers are low this year due to low snow pack and the early melting of said snow pack. Hiking is always big. Biking you will see plenty of in Boulder. There are some great amusement parks in the Boulder/Denver area: El itches and the like. Believe me you won't run out of things to do.
Please give us people that live in small non-existent towns a break. We really do know how to live. Better than most, I'd say.
There are great restaurants in the Boulder and Denver areas. There are lots of places you can visit: Georgetown, Redstone, Leadville (home of the unsinkable Molly Brown and Baby Doe), Aspen (lots of glitz), Marble (most the monuments in Washington DC are made of this marble) it depends on what you are looking for.
The one thing we have in Colorado is the most beautiful scenery in the world and it changes valley to valley. If you like hummingbirds, chances are good that you will be buzzed (wear red print). If you like horses you can ride in these gorgeous places and you will remember them for the rest of your life. Better yet you'll be coming back. Believe me you will have a great time. People actually come to the Rockies to learn how to be human again. Let me know if it works for ya. Have a wonderful vacation.

Don't forget the sunscreen, in Colorado out of 365 days a year, at least 300 of those are sunny days! There is a saying here in Colorado "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes." Chances are if you don't like blue skies, the sun shinning, mountain streams and wildlife, you won't like Colorado.

One more factoid: There are 74 mountains in the Continental United States that are over 15,000 feet. 53 of those mountains are in this great state of Colorado. We have a lot of mountains and they are made up of a lot of rocks.

If you like waterfalls, you could go see Boulder Falls. It's just a short drive up Boulder Canyon. There are also a good number of waterfalls at Rocky Mountain National Park. Have fun whatever you do :-).
