What if it was your child, mother, father, brother, or sister he killed? Would you still defend him? Would you still have the nerve to say 'he had a reason' or 'only god can judge him'? Close your eyes and imagine your very own child murdered at the innocent age of seven. That is what happen people. He has taken the life of two people, one of which was very innocent (his 7 year old child). There is no excuse, no matter what he has done in the industry, and no you don't have to respect anything this man has done. He lost all respect and credibility for taking the life of a child. I have had family members taken from me, so I do and will judge Benoit. I hope he does burn in hell!!!

I totally agree with you, even if he was sick, or depressed I feel that there is no excuse to murdering anyone. How can anyone sit back and defend him if indeed he murdered his child and his wife. No one deserves to loose their life, my heart goes out to the family and the wife and son, that poor child has no protection he could not have even ran away that was daddy to him and he was supposed to protect him against harm but instead he enforced it. People looked up to this man, and he betrayed everyone. Again my heart goes out to the family and the mother and son may you rest in peace.

The true measure of a man is how he stands up to adversity. I am not a religious man(I don't believe in hell or the invisible man in the sky) But I believe in most religions they tend to stress forgiveness. I was always impressed by how Pope John Paul II forgave and hugged the man that shot him. Can I honestly say if I was in that situation I wouldn't have dark thoughts and revenge filled intentions. No I can't say that, but I can say I would hope I would not. I will remember Benoit as a man that gave me countless hours of entertainment whatever happened in his personal life will never have any bearing on that.

Don't believe the hype! 1st I have to get full results to what exactly occured. If indeed Benoit did kill his famliy and himself then I must agree with you. At the same time remember only God can judge you. At the present moment nobody really knows what happened but once again if Benoit did kill then he will go to hell no doubt.

Sure it was wrong what he did, and there's really no excuse for it, but who are you to say you hope he burns in hell?
He's lost a lot of people's respect, but like someone said earlier we can't forget all the good hes done earlier in his life.

Dude....I can't say what I would do. The bottom line is that I'm not in that position. I can only react to what I see and use what I was taught as a Christian.
Benoit has indeed killed two people, but I don't think it gives me or others the right to say things like "Benoit should burn in hell."

I was wondering why USA network aired a 3 hour special on a murderer. This guy murdered his family. Ok, his wife, but on top of it his 7 year old son? He didn't even begin his life, and USA is airing a 3 hour special like this guy deserves any more recognition?! He's a ******* murderer?!?!?!?!?! Who respects that? No one knows the real him, they know an actor. He was a professional actor, and the real him was a killer that killed his family.

But what if Benoit was your friend? Would you like all these people being so nasty about what he did.
Yes, it was very wrong, but I believe he must have been a very sick man to do that, so let the man rest in peace.

What if your best friend or brother was the one who killed his family and himself? Then what? Would you just automatically judge that he should go to hell and forget all the good things he has done? You CAN'T JUDGE that he go to hell or not, only God can that is the truth. And I disagree with you.

Don't blame him for something he likely didn't know he was doing...I am not defending him, but he was likely on steroids and was a victim of roid rage and didn't know what he was doing...There is a difference between being cold blooded like OJ, and doing it under the influence of drugs...but he shouldn't have been taking steroids...I will give you that...In fact, PEOPLE...They have now confirmed that there were steroids found...

Geez....
Unless you like wrestling and have watched it you wouldn't understand. I don't think that it's that people are defending him but they are mourning the person they knew and they are still in shock - I know I am! Like I keep saying - none of us were there, we don't know what happened. We just keep seeing what the media tells us.
And I don't want to picture it in my head because according to the story it would mean that my husband did it!
