every person is made for a specific purpose and he can perform that task better than anybody else

Dull and worthless are value statements. It's not possible to be worthless, because everybody has something to add to society, community, the world even. Dull is just an easy way out when the person who says that doesn't have anything to say. It's just limited language by the person who says it.

Every person is adept at some narrow aspect of a specific field of endeavor.

However, only a few can claim to be the best, no matter the how thin we slice the expertise pie.

One mans 'dull` can be anothers 'fascinating`.
People are different as are their opinions.
Nobody can be universally liked. Don't even try.
