It's a personal thing and it's a decision that can only be made by you. Except for having a coarser texture, the hair from your vaginal area is not any different than removing like when your legs, or wax them, for example. It is completely fine and safe to remove. Hope I helped, and Good Luck!!! Also, the nurse Annie that says it's not a good idea, well trust me on this one. I have asked my doctor for myself. Just because she calls herself a nurse doesn't nessasarilly mean she is. No offense. Think about it.

No, you dont HAVE to. if you want to, you can. its all up to you. many women find that it looks better and shave it off, while others leave it as is. there is nothing wrong wtih it either way. the only thing you may notice if you do end up shaving though is itchiness and irritation the first few times you do it.

No you are not supposed to, but if you want to, it is fine. I like to shave, because it just makes everything neater and feels cleaner in my opinion. It does grow back coarser if you shave it, and will itch really bad if you grow it back out. It does make you more prone to ingrown hairs, but shaving in itself is not unhealthy. It's all up to you.

not a good idea, the hair there serves a purpose, and when you remove it you become prone to ingrown hairs and increased occurance of vaginal yeast.

you don't have to. most people like to or just trim it. but its all up to you, your not supposed to do anything, you get to choose

slight trimming to keep it short should be OK in my opinion.
