I'm not sure what you mean by famous. Best reputation? Sells the most papers? I'd say that historically at least the Times of London is the most famous. The Financial Times is also pretty well known.

Depends what you mean by *in* London.
If you mean a *local* London paper Paulie is correct, the Evening Standard.
If you mean produced or read in London, The Times is probably the most famous newspaper in the world

If you mean "newspaper",The Times is famous the world over.It used to have the nickname of "The Thunderer".I confess I don't know why.That nickname is not used so often these days.I believe I'm right in saying that "Times" newspapers all over the world e.g. "New York Times" were all named after the London Times as it is the oldest.

You have to define your question better if you want a logical answer. First, longest running, most read or what? Fame means different things to different people. London News could be one to consider.
