You need to grade high in the scouts evaluation at hitting for average and power, running, and throwing. If you can't do all four of those things then chances are they will not consider you.

You should be able to hit, catch AND throw well. If you can't do any one of these three, you have no chance at all of being a major leaguer, unless you can throw 100 mph and change up at 85 mph, then you will be a pitcher.

every player has skills some better than other but really pro scouts are looking for players that have a nice strong blend of throwing, hitting, and catching, but more importantly is that they get a feeling that a certain player knows how to PLAY the game. which cut off man to hit, where to play in certain circumstances, HOW to hit, so its very important to have a really good understanding of how to play the game and then have strong skills included.

If they don't know who you are, you aren't going to be able to get on an MLB team. Your question doesn't even make sense. They don't put nobodies on MLB teams. Maybe you could get on a A team, but i doubt that. If you have to ask about how to make it, you won't, sorry man.

If you can't hit you can't play (you do have to bat) unless you are in the American league and a pitcher.

If you cannot pitch, you'd better be able to hit.
