I saw Pete Rose on TV say that Bonds is the greatest player of all-time, and even though I don't like Bonds, he is one of the greatest. Pete Rose broke the one rule that you're not suppose to break in baseball, he gambled. Yes, it's sad he did and will never get into the Hall of Fame, but he knew what he was doing. It's not like he needed the money. If you let Rose off the hook, than what's stopping any other player from doing the same? McGwire isn't Hall worthy because with the exception of the homeruns, non of his numbers are good enough. Sammy Sosa might get in, not sure though. Bonds will get in, he will, all baseball writers have already said that. My vote would be for Bonds. Cheating to try to win isn't the worst thing in the world. And by the way, using steroids wasn't against the rules untill recently, so technicaly they weren't cheating.

Rose. He was just too good. Bonds still deserves to be there, but Rose is more deserving of the honors. Mcgwire had a few decent seasons and Sosa is just an afterthought to me now. I could do without the last 2 for sure. Bonds did a lot before he got into all this controversy and what not.

I don't care for either one, but if I had to choose only one then it would be Pete Rose. As the others who voted for him stated he only bet on baseball, he didn't use steroid or cork his bat (not that we know of.) I don't think steroids was an issue when he was playing.

Thats an easy question. Pete Rose of course. He's only one of the best hitters of all time. He has the most hits by anyone, and he did it WITHOUT steroids. I think it's ridiculous for Rose not to be in the hall just because he did something stupid. Everyone in the game bets, he just got caught. Its the same as steroids. Everyone does it, but not everyone gets caught.

1. Pete Rose. One of the greatest of all time to step on a baseball diamond. And he didn't cheat like the rest.
