I think I may be leaking very small amount of amniotic fluid each day.( Actually, I think I'm just being paranoid. )
I am having discharge, which I've read is normal. But for those of you that HAVE leaked amniotic fluid, what did it look like?
I have a DR appt for Friday, so I'll of course bring it up, but just for extra research....

It could be urine too. I know it sounds gross, but it's normal for pregnant women to leak urine. If you are really worried, you can go up to Labor and Delivery at the hospital, and they will test for it. It's just a strip they put up against your vagina. If it turns a certain color, it's fluid, if not, it's probably urine or just additional discharge. I might call and let my doctor know that you think you may be leaking. There is no harm in calling. They may even want to see you. So call them, and see what they say.

It is just like water. I was 36 weeks and I thought I was just going to the bathroom alot because I was 9 months. My water dropped 5 points in 4 days. I ended up getting an infection from leaking the water & I got very sick. How far along are you? If you are leaking water they will have to take the baby either by inducing you or a c-section. The doctor will be able to run a test to see if its your amniotic fluid. Good luck

When I was preg with my daughter (who is 9 today!! OMG!) I stood up one morning after sleeping all night and I thought I peed alittle bit. It was my fluid. I leaked like that all day until 5pm when I went in to the hospital with contractions 5 minutes apart. If you think you are leaking, you will actually leak like that until it finally breaks or you start to feel time-able contractions. I thought I was peeing all day and when I went in "just to see" sure enough, it was the fluid I was leaking. It is warm like pee and very light in color like pee can sometimes be.

Its an excessively fundamental facet of pregnancy, Im 17 weeks and my fluid is at the low part, that's so disturbing, The fluid protects little one is helping little one feed develop the whole lot to be sincere.

amniotic fluid is very sweet smelling call your doctor today if you think your leaking. your baby is at risk if so and could die

I'm 28 weeks pg, I always have discharge and have to wear a panty liner. I've heard that if your leaking af that it has a strong acidic smell...
