I use to think that I would go back and change things in my life but I'm at a point where I am content with the way I live my life.
Everyday is decided by me and if I didn't choose the path or road I'm on now, I would not be the type of person that I am today. I would not have the same wisdom, frame of mind and probably not be surrounded with the loving and caring support system I have today.

To the years between my daughter's 1st and 9th birthdays. I have LOVED all the years of her life so far, she is a wonderful girl and has been nothing but a blessing to my life. But I'd like to go back and relish her even more - like re-do the times when I was pre-occupied while she wanted to tell me some silly little story, or when I was in a hurry and she just wanted one more hug before I headed off to work - instead of a quick little hug, I'd give her a real, big, strong and long hug. Stuff like that.
I've really realized in the past couple of years how fast time is going and how quickly she is growing and on her way to being a lovely young woman - so I have slowed myself down where she is concerned much more often. I would love to have realized that a bit sooner.

I would go back to when I was around 18 or 19 years old and do things differently. But the only thing that I can do is move forward and not backwards.

I would go back to 09/2003 and stand with my Mom at my Father's grave and tell her how much I loved her.
She died 6 months later.
