every time i click the left mouse button it brings up the the thing that would come up if you clicked the right button

its an hp with windows vista installed

When this problem occurs, click and release the right mouse button to cause the mouse to behave correctly again.

OK everyone is going to have a joke about Lab tops here. Maybe it's designed for a dog to use. If it's the actual lap top or note book then go to the control panel and look at the mouse. Sometimes called Alps. It is a brand of mouse or fader. Maybe you can set up the preferences or options from there.
By the way 12 year old learn to use spell check. Do what the guy before me said to do.

Start>Control Panel> find Mouse settings and change there.

go to your control panel click on mouse properties and check out the options there

if u dont know how to spell LAP TOP you really musnt know how to even turn a comp on and by the way SUSPEND ME a laptop is not actually desighned to go on ur lap im 12 and i know more than you!
