id say its best they be supervised. if theyre where you can see them, fine. but to let them wader around where you have no idea where they are and what theyre doing...not so good. if they got hurt or in trouble how would you ever know about it? let them be independent where you can see them. what about buying them tickets to the game for seats a few rows in front of you and your husband? theyll feel really independent and you'll still be able to keep an eye on them.

There is really nothing wrong with letting your sons wander around Dodger Stadium together. I would make sure that one of your sons had a cell phone and checked in with him from time to time. I have seen children roam around theme parks unsupervised. To me theme parks are easier to get lost in than a stadium. You and your husband should set some ground rules and tell your sons to report to you every so many innings (for example say innings 3, 6, and 9) that way you will not be too worried about them. So, I guess I'm saying your husband wins the bet (sorry.)

I think 10 and 12 are too young to be on their own in a baseball stadium. Anyone could lure them into a men's room with a promise of meeting the first baseman after the game or a team autographed ball. Or they could just be grabbed with no warning.
I have all boys, a hubby and brothers and the male species just don't see the domino affect of their actions.

It is in the middle. If they are going to get something to eat or go to the bathroom, and they both go, I don't see a problem with it. If they just want to cruise around the stadium instead of watching the game, no chance. Mainly because I wouldn't pay for a ticket and have them not watch the game.

Sorry, but you may just have to pony up for dinner. My son and his buddy's alway ran around with their mitts years ago chasing after foul balls. And too think, a lot of those he played ball against with went on to win the the College World Series back to back. Go Beav's. :)

I would let them wander around during the pregame batting practice but during the game i would make them sit down and watch the game. if they want a foul ball you might wanna try and get seats where they can get one.

I would have to say no because even if your boys are responsible enough for you to trust them to know that they aren't going to be goofing around, it's the other people that you can never trust. With the kind of world we live in today, I wouldn't give anyone the chance to ruin my family's life.

You're going to let your kids wander around unsupervised with who knows WHAT kind of twisted f*cks are on the prowl for little boys like yours?
Shame on you!
