Your camera probably came with attachments. One of them probably has a USB end. Take that and plug that in to the computer, with you camera attached. Then go to my computer and click on its icon in there. depending on your camera it will have a different name. Once you find it, open it up and click on the video. Download the video to your computer and then save it. Once you save it go onto your email and start your message to your friends. go to the button that says "attachments". You will find this on the same page as the area you write your message in. a screen will pop up with little boxes that say "browse" on them. Click on the browse button and then search for where you saved your video. Double click on it. After that click on the button that says "download attachements" This should take a few minutes but once you finish doing so, continue to your message and then send it.
I hope i explained that good enough to help you out!!

It is pretty hard to tell you exactly how to download your video camera to your pc. Usually the camera has software and an instruction set to do this. Check with your camera literature and the camera maker's web site for more info and the specifics.
Once the file is downloaded you can e mail as an attachment. Caution! The maximum file size for an e mail and attachment is 10 MB. If your file is bigger than this it will NOT go out via e mail. You can use an FTP protocol but you need FTP software and and FTP server to do this.

Depends on what type of camera you have.... If you have a digital video camera with a firewire connection IEEE1334 you can connect it to a firewire port on your computer and download the video from the camera. If you do not have a digital camera, then you will need some sort of video capture device to capture the output of your camera and save it on your computer something like DAZZLE works really well.

You first have to find and download software that records video as well as audio. You can download the audio by simply plugging into your soundcard on the back of your pc and open of sound recorder and click record while your video camera is on play.

If your camera has i-link aka firewire aka ieee1394 and your PC has firewire ports connect the two and use (i think) Windows Movie Maker to pull the video.
If not you have to go thru composite video (yellow, red, white plugs) and get something like this
