Well, Syl, I'll tell ya...sometimes I go into the other country's sites just to see if they are different from what I see in Canada, and I can tell you that the very first time I went into UK & Ireland Seniors page, there was only TWO questions there! That was when I had two PAGES of questions going through my usual Canada site.

But have you noticed that Yahoo is having a LOT of glitches lately...I mean when I am on my way to the Seniors page, I have to pass through Society & Culture, where my eyes note that the top answerer has over 700 best answers. And Cultures & Groups, where the top answerer has 276 best answers. And yet, sometimes they show the S & C guy with only 200+ BAs, and the C & G guy with only 86 BAs. But if you hit Home, and go through the route again, the numbers will be back to where they belong. So like I said....an ongoing glitch of some kind. Probably bad lines of programming that they try to patch over, but that get "exposed" when some other patch removes part of the "fix".

So, my suggestion is that if you find something wrong the first time you go into Seniors, that you hit "HOME" and go through the routing again. Chances are that it will have resolved itself by the time you get back to it. If not, you can always go into another section and answer questions there for awhile before coming back to us.

Hi Sylvia. Yes I have noticed some funnies too.I have signed off while using UK and Ireland ,when switching on it has changed to All English. Mind you in your favourite seniors category there are only very few questions.in UK/IRL but a lot more in all eng. so it might be better to use that. The only prob is that it is not possible to answer a lot of USA questions as rules and things for seniors are so different there.i

I've had trouble for weeks trying to hold "All English Questions" rather than "UK & Ireland" I switch, a bit later notice that it switched itself back. I switch it again & it seems to hold until I jump to a different forum. Some nights, I have to switch it 4 or 5 times before it will stay where I want it.

Annoying isn't it? It's not just the Senior category. They're everywhere. Try looking at the Cooking recipes. Most give measurements in cups. Just how do you measure half a cup of butter? When I asked, I was told it's half a stick, or something equally unintelligible.
Midnite Rambler should keep on rambling!

No,it is not your imagination, there are real problems with Yahoo.
Yahoo is messed up in a lot of areas.I suppose that it is because of the upgrades being made.I have a lot of trouble with blogging on 360.
In my mind,it is just something that comes with the territory when upgrades are being made and Yahoo is making major changes.
It is like every time that Windows comes out with a new upgrade in its software--there is a lot of tweaking left to be done.
It is not anything that you or your system is doing,it is the Yahoo servers.

Hi Sylvia,

I had this exact problem a couple of nights ago after e-mailing a contact in Ireland. I'm in the US but I couldn't get back onto the broad network....no gentlemen that isn't referring to the ladies only network.
I think the problem was corrected when I logged off and then back on.

Actually I never notice the difference unless the question as a reference to something not in the UK

What? No Canucks? No Americans? Are they working on a theory of Exclusionism? I get a kick out of posting with any and every one of the members of the Yahoo! - munity.
I hope this problem is resolved quickly.

Later Daze! =)

Yahoo has been doing some maintenance the last couple of days; chances are you're just getting caught up in that :-)
