It's so early yet and you're already declaring that none of them "are that impressive". I would be curious to know exactly how much you know about each of the candidates (have you watched the debates? have you researched them and their past voting records, policies, views, etc.?) I'm sure it's much easier though, to go ahead and "throw in the towel" (as someone else above said). The first set of primaries (Tsunami Tuesday) isn't even until Feb. 5, 2008. I say let's give them some more time before we make any final judgments.

Actually, I think Michael Steele was lieutenant governor of Maryland...when Bob Ehrlich was governor. I think he was appointed as chairman to get more Blacks in the republican party. I can still see Steele distancing the republican party from Bush. And I get a kick out of him saying Democrat ideas are wrong...yet when asked what would be better, he responds that is not his job to state policy. Unbelievable As to Palin/Hillary...yes, I think that was their plan...Palin to replace Hillary. That is like a Rolls Royce in your garage replacing it with a tricycle. Clearly, the republicans just don't get it. They have no empathy for what the people have gone through losing jobs, homes, insurance, etc. All they care about is power, controlling the people with scare tactics...and MONEY!

LOL with 17 months to go, youre ready to throw in the towel, and you talk about LIBERALS being into the "cut and run" mentality?

Im starting to feel glad Republicans AREN'T in Iraq, we would have lost Hawaii by now with them running and hiding.

As usual, we will hopefully select the least incompetent.

Also as usual, we will probably end up with the least competent instead.
