They're not as great as I am.

Two things, in general:
1) Who wants to be around them? They often think they are superior in every way and don't even seem to realize how insulting they are.
2) There is some reason why they are arrogant. Did they come from nothing, pulling themselves up by the bootstrap, conquering insurmountable obstacles? Are are they really good at doing something? (e.g., orchestra conductors).
But, thank God for those people who do these things and are still humble.

Arrogance is nothing more than possibly a blindness of sorts.
many have selective vision or any one of a number of selective processes however maybe caused unintentionally by education structures and any other imposed things for which the arrogant person is not entirely responsible.

I classify them twice, first the ones that are capable, and the ones that are not.
I can endure arrogant people at work, if their arrogance is founded. Otherwise no.
What I really hate is nice people, who are irresponsible and not too bright.

Maybe they're pretensious or arrogant because it helps them feel better. They should probably take a lesson from the handsome Prince William and realize that being humble can be HOT!

Umm I think arrogant people should def. have more respect for otheers. I think that they act the way they do cause they have such a small amount of self-confidence aND SELF-RESPECT.

I think very little of them and like to avoid being around them. They have bad energy that affects those around them.
