I would go to Google.com and type in "Whirlpool gas dryer " and then the problem you are having. You will probably come up with message boards of people that have had the same or similar problems and how they fixed it. We tried this with our Maytag dryer, and my husband was able to fix it for much less than paying a repairman.

You need to describe the problem with the dryer, many people here have experience in various problems with different models of dryers. Your problem may be a simple fix.
