Yes. I am not an artist or any kind of related job skill set, but I think people are happiest and do the best work if they follow their hearts. In the business magazines I read, they always say to do what you want and the money will follow.

Of course! I was always told not to be a starving artist, but in this age of obesity maybe a little less food is a good thing. Maybe we should all quit the 9 - 5 and spend the rest of our lives indulging ourselves in blissful, self gratifying art work. It worked for Mozart and DaVinci so why shouldn't it work for the rest of the world. I know Mom and Dad will support me on this one.

I tried that- I was one of the more promising artists in my class too... then I came to the realization that a lot of artists come to and got a computer job- this is America. Artists starve.
That's just me though.
