The only difference is that they are spelled differently,
and yet, they are all "Related" to the same meaning.
No need to fuss over it, there are many words that are
spelled differently but have more or less the same
conotations.

Stupid is something that's not smart. An idiot is someone who has limited to no ability to be smart. And dumb is something we all do once in awhile which is also something that's not smart. Stupid is closer to dumb, than idiot.
Preferably, you want to be called stupid or dumb than an idiot because idiot is more insulting.

ok stupid is like you cant make an intelligent decision. Idiot is someone that doesnt know the simpilest facts and dumb is a term used between friends to joke around.

Stupid means someone is literally silly and doesn't have much common sense. An idiot is a silly person who may be "stupid". And dumb is when you can't speak.

Well my opinions that stupid is more harsh (and teenagers use it more often then the other ones) , idiot is what smart people say and dumb/silly is what you have to say around toddlers.

Stupid is when you act goofy and silly.
An idiot is someone who doesn't care and is oblivious to obvious facts. I think it could also be used like ignorant.
Dumb is someone who just doesn't know anything better than their own experience.

Idiot: Someone who's acting stupid or dumb lol
Dumb: Ignorant, unknowing
