Hi,
I absolutely adore One Child by Torey Hayden. It's probably not most people's cup-of-tea because it's a very fixed, and emotional, genre but I recommend giving it a go anyway.
At the moment, I'm reading Ruby in the Smoke by Phillip Pullman.
I think the book series that I've enjoyed the longest are: My Secret Unicorn by Linda Chapman, The Sleepover Club (by various authors), The Famous Five/Secret seven by Enid Blyton and recently the Mates, Dates series by Cathy Hopkins..
Big choice there!

I read fantasy and sci-fi almost exclusively. My favorite is the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn Trilogy by Tad Williams. The individual volumes are, Dragonbone Chair, Stone of Farewell, and To Green Angel Tower. Although they are fantasy books, I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good read.

Harry Potter books are the best. my friends convienced me to read them becasue they loved them too. Although they look long and boring, they really are not. each book in the series are full of action, drama, comedy, and suspense. the books keep getting better and better as you go on! i am on the sixth book and it is AMAZING! They really relate to life. the ppl who would like these books are probably kids in middle school, high school, or just graduating. They is definity the best.

Melody by V.C. Andrews is my all time favorite. That book is in a series of 4 books and I loved all 4 of them. I also love Flowers in the attic by V.C. Andrews... all of V.C. Andrews books are amazing. I strongly recommend them for women ages 14-up.
