I've had a lot of umbrellas that both tremble and go inside-out. I was wondering whether a parasol would be able to stand the rain and wind that may be there.

A parasol, which means "for the sun", is generally used as a shading device like on the patio or beach. They're generally not designed to withstand inclement weather. Just buy a good umbrella.
