Hi Edith, go to your local library or bookstore and pick up the Red Book of Coins 2007. Inside you'll be able to identify your coin and find a price for it based on the details and condition of it. Good luck!

You did not give the denomination of the 1925 coin so can't help you there. Your 1/2 dollars may have mint marks, if there is one it is on the eagle side to the left of the word half. If none they were minted in Philadelphia. The value for a 1937 is $5 70 to $6.25 depending on what circulated grade it is. The 1937-D is worth more in high circulated grades as well as the one with an S mint mark. The 1945 no matter what mint mark it has if any is worth $5 to $6 in circulated grades. The above values are about what a dealer would pay.
