I have taken some pictures of flowers - some places include Pennsylvania, Georgia, and New York - I need to find the scientific names of the flowers. Are there any Web Sites where I can go to either look at pictures and try to match them up or fill out some type of questionaire about what type of flower it is? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a flower encyclopedia that includes both the common and scientific names.

I used Wikipedia for that and for identifying birds but there may be sites that have species and plant names specific to each area. Find a forum on plants and flowers and post your pictures. I am sure you will get many responses from the pros.

I would consider a good old fashioned book. If they were wildflowers, you could purchase a book about wildflowers in that particular state/area. Many of them are arranged by color/bloom season/shape of flower. Or try to Google "Pennsylvania Wildflowers".
