I've heard the saying about sleeping on washing lines,heres a true throwaway story.I am pretty keen on local history,I found out about an old pub in my town that once was a "doss house", some people payed a few pennys for a sleep on a rope stretched across the room, they leant against it with it resting across their chests and with their arms over it.In the morning the proprietor untied one end of the rope,they of course fell on the floor. they were then given a mug of tea, a piece of bread and dripping and sent on their way. I have often wondered if the saying had it's roots in this story.

Anyway, No I haven't fallen asleep in any of these.

Nope - sorry, afraid not.
I have, however, fallen asleep on the washing machine and on the ironing board (luckily the iron wasn't close). I don't suppose that these count...?

No, but I fell asleep on a ferry once with my head resting on the boat rail and it vibrating away!!

Not on a washing line but in my back garden shed when drunk once stupid i know ,my keys where in my bag but couldn't find them so went and sleep in the shed .x

LOL When I was a kid, I'd make a hammock out of a sheet and the clothes line...ahhh good times!

no but when i was younger i fell asleep up a tree.
sent my parents into a wild frenzy cause they couldn't find me.

In my neighborhood, if you fall asleep in the Laundromat, you wake up broke and your clothes are stolen.
