For the most part MYSPACE is not bad. Myspace is what you make of it. and MYSPACE it self is doing everything they can to help make it fun and not so dangerious I think for the most part the people who are against myspace is because of the pictures and the information that is put up on myspace and that the world can see it. BUT as we all know MYSPACE has been making BIG changes almost daily to protect people. you can now make your page private so you can allow who sees you. you can also make your pictures that way... you can make alot of securities to myspace which is a good thing.

becuase there are pedophiles and sluts and fakes.
you can't entirely trust people on there all the time.
so people say myspace is a bad thing.
but it isn't,
there's just some bad people on there.
really,
myspace is really great.
you meet new friends and stuff
and you keep in contact with old ones.
plus if you're a band you can get a lot of attention on there too.
and people can discover new bands and stuff.
so myspace isn't bad people just say it is because they have no refrence to it whatsoever except for the bad things that people say about it.

It's the perfect place for sexual predators to stalk children. Kids can't help but put personal information up there that makes it very easy to find them.

Then you've got idiots who cause crap like in the link below.

Girl gets dissed by boy for prom. Girl gets pictures of kids (including boy in question) at party. Pictures get posted on facebook (same as myspace) only to cause 17 kids to get kicked off sports teams. Baseball loses in playoffs because a major piece of the team is suspended.

Most kids and many adults are too immature to use it responsibly. It creates to much drama.

Because u get hundreds of spams....people you dont know always add you the myspace corporation was once made for good reasons then bought out and now just tries to sell things. You don't belong to a certain network based on schools like facebook. There is no privacy in it. Kids always get in trouble for nawty photos being up. And little myspace goblins fly around dropping loads of diarreah on you whenever you add more than 10 friends...atleast that happens to me :/

Myspace is for people that want a web page, but lack the skills to make web pages. So, you have all these crappy pages for unskilled people. Plus it's a giant waste of time. So much useful information on the internet, and people want to waste time posting information about their useless lives and interests.

it can be very addictive and compulsive for some people. for other's, it's a way to solicit sex and other forms of illegal activities from minors. all in all, it's what you make myspace to be. if you just use it regularly for social purposes, then it's not bad.

Lots of kids seems addicted to it. Sexual Predators. Spamming. Blah Blah. Parents don't want children on it because of media. Children sneak on it using proxys anonymizers. Kids get on at school.
