Im sick of all the questions on here just basically talking **** about chris benoit. The WWE did a tribute night to chris benoits life and career which was very appropriate and warranted. He had an amazing life, I am glad the WWE did a tribute so we could all remember what a great man chris really was. As with anyones death it should be forgotten, and their life celebrated, he lived a life worth celebrating. They are speculating that steroids played a factor in this whole terrible thing. And I believe that. Many people in the wrestling world have at one point or another used steroids and I know from personal experience the terrible things they make people do. The person on them is in a way completely out of control "Roid Rage" With all the stress on him with the pay-per-view and title match I would not be surprised if he was usuing. Either way, my heart goes out to the family, but I will not look down on him for this, he still has my respect. Because in his life he was a wonderful man.

I agree with you.
We all respect the man Chris was..
We dont know what he was on over the weekend, but we do know that it must have been something major to make him do this. Family was so important to the man...
and if any of us were on something like steroids...for whatever reason, we'd do the same thing. It can happen.
Its different when people are totally sober and everything...and still feel the need to kill, without the help of drugs.
We dont know what he was on, or why he was on anything, so we cant accuse him of that. As much as we dont know him personally, we know that he wasnt that bad of a man to sink that low and kill his own family.
He loved his life, and everybody that knew him said they were extremely happy...
So...to make a long story short, we're respecting the real chris benoit...not the thing he morphed into over the weekend...
Oh...and seriously, people are defending Nancy and Daniel, here, but what if they pushed Chris to kill them once he was on Steroids?! I mean, its pretty obvious when someone is on steroids, and they should've been careful around him. They could very easily have pissed him off.

true that the WWE did a right thing by giving him a tribute during raw, the WWE is doing horrible thing by taking all Chris Benoit products off of their WWE shop and not even planning on mentioning him on ECW and SmackDown. And also continuing the Vince died storyline.

Anyone who kills their wife and child does not deserve any respect, no matter what they did during their life. It is sick to even suggest it. The fact that he took steroids at all makes him a very bad role model. If it turns out he didn't do it, then fine, but in the meantime all the evidence suggests you are standing up for a child killer. Not a very good stand to take.

Boy you respect a killer. Why dont you respect Jeffery Dohmer or Osma Bin Laden then. There killers to. I hate the fact that WWE payed tribute to a killer, right after insulting my intelegence by saying vince McMahon is dead. I think Im dropping WWE and wrestling now for NHL. Atleast its real sports competition. And they wont spend 3 hours boo hooing over a guy that killed inocent people and himself for selfich reasons.

So, paying tribute to a murderer is ok? I'm sad that this happened, but there's no way I can forget that he murdered his wife and child.
