No, I am not 2 years old and I wasnt asking if I need a new passport. I was simply asking if my info might still be on file.

Isnt Yahoo answers a place to ask questions and get answers not ridicule?

If the passport expired, you will need your birth certificate again. If it's just up for renewal, then you don't. (Passports are valid for 10 years)

PASSPORT: info:

The passport office does not have your birth certificate.
Why would they? Your parents should have possesson of your passport.

You need a NEW passport, you're no longer 2 years old, are you?

Go to the Passport Office or look online for it.

They should have info on obtaining a passport and what you need to get a passport.
