Totally Disagree. If you go to any homestyle restaurant they will ALWAYS put butter on the pancakes unless you tell them not too! When people are at home, however, they tend not to put butter on their pancakes and just use syrup (cause they don't taste the same as restaurant pancakes anyways, right?). It is kind of the 'thing' to put butter on pancakes
If you google pancakes it will 99% of the time be with butter.
seriously ALL recipes include that step of putting a dollop of butter on top!

I would have to say disagree. A lot of people put butter on their pancakes even though I personally don't. I am so sorry if I did not answer the way you wanted.

disagree. We had a big breakfast feast the other day and everyone was fighting over the butter to put on their pancakes!
