I own 2 business's, and work from home most days, allowing me to spend time with my children. It was not, however, a chosen profession. Just kinda happened. It is my dream job, but I sometimes wish I had a profession in which I helped people. Like working with the Y, or being a mentor. However, I volunteer throughout local organizations, to fulfull that want.

Definitely NOT working my chosen profession. What I'm doing now is also, NOT for the money. Because of circumstances far beyond MY control, I haven't actually given that a thought for quite sometime. But for something, "right off the cuff" so to speak. It would be a job where I felt that "I
was doing something to help and influence others to attain their goals and aspirations. Where ever that might be! I also
would hope that this job would require a certain amount of travel. "Because I love it!"

It is not my chosen profession, & it is not for the money. My "Dream Job" was too high stress, the pay was great, but I ended up hating it. So, I took a lower paying job & love it. I now work with people in need & it is amazing helping people.

I run an antique mall. I am one of the lucky ones that loves to get up and come to work everyday. It is not the profession I trained for but rather a career that I faked my way into. Now some 2 decades later....I know my field well.

I am working in my chosen profession, but also within that chosen profession I do certain jobs just for the money and others for art.
It's almost as if the money issue follows you everywhere isn't it?

I cannot stand my job, it's just a paycheck. My dream job...can vary; I have a lot of interests. My longstanding dream is to be an archaeologist, but I don't really know how realistic that is anymore at this point in my life.
